I cannot elaborate on this right now, so it’ll be by bullet point. Apologies.
You can take a vacation from ministry but not from God’s call. We are called to minister & reach out to a lost and broken world.

morning devotions
Faith is strengthened amidst trial, when plugged in to The Power Source.
Reading Ephesians 6:10-18: Pampered faith leads to no growth and weak faith while Challenged faith allows growth and strength when plugged directly to The Power Source Himself, God.
It’s almost the same thing with physical strength. We won’t become strong and good athletes lying...

A Time for Everything
Ecclesiastes 3:1-15 A Time for Everything
There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven 2 A time to give birth, and a time to die; A time to plant, and a time to uproot what is planted. 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to tear down, and a time to build up. 4 A time to weep, and a time to...

Of Little blessings and Heavy trials.
I just had a really nice thought. :) God has been teaching me lately to count the little things in life and hold them close to your heart like blessings. He’s teaching me the spirit of GRATITUDE and THANKFULNESS. And if he does hold me worthy of bigger blessings, i know better than to think it is due to my own hard work or...

Sunday Sermon: HEROES.
Today’s sermon was the start of the series on Heroes. It started with an operational definition of the word, Hero. A hero is a person who submits to God’s purpose for His life. Another one about submission, huh? :) Three main points were highlighted. 1. Joseph put a value to his PURITY. It wasn’t something he resolved to do when...

Recognizing Jesus by George Wood
“When they had crossed over; they landed at Gennesaret and anchored there. AS soon as they got out of the boat, people recognized Jesus. They ran throughout the whole region and carried the sick on mats to wherever they heard he was. And wherever he went-into villages, towns or countryside - they placed the sick in the marketplaces. They begged him to let them touch even the edge of his...

Brainstorming Sesh
So far I have two ideas..
1. Sesame Street - is it still appropriate for our kids today? Does it teach our kids to label people and hold improper cues that children may pick up?
2. Superheroes and gender biases? But this is more for the older group of kids. My kids this semester are preschool age ones.
Any ideas?
