Why Do Women Cry? They Say Women Cry for No...
I just watched a YouTube video by a very popular member entitled Girls Are Weird, Why Do They Cry for No Apparent Reason? His girlfriend was in the video and they were talking about an instance that actually happened when she started crying, and could not explain why. Their conclusion was that girls cry for no reason and are strange. While I believe that women do cry for reasons they cannot...

I also felt touched while cooking this week. I actually got a glimpse of teamwork in a relationship and experienced it, and it was a good feeling. i would characterize it as a highlight of the week. It was fun to cook, and fun to learn how to make an uneven cake. One of the things in my list is great teamwork, and I’ve been seeing that lately. Also, there’s this challenge that...

Obladee-Saturday!
So it’s been awhile since we’ve worked at the thrift store, and I missed it a lot. Not a lot of buyers came in today though, maybe coz it was lenten season. I got a cute bag for free and a red top which i plan to use as a sailor inspired summer outfit. =) And then, I met up with Adam and went grocery together since we were making dinner for my parents and us. Kind of an early...

To teach is touch a life forever.  →
This is an article written by a former student of one of my high-school English teachers. She managed to intimidate me so much, and made me cry more than once. But she taught me how to write papers as best as one can, how to research on what interests you, how to chase after your passion, and how to love reading more. Kudos to teachers like her!

Right not, I’m cooking beef salpicao. I tenderized it by boiling, i have a lot of beef stock I can use now! Mhmmm. beef cubes are marinating in olive oil, garlic and pepper right now. This recipe i found online here specified Knorr Liquid Seasoning and I just couldn’t find any at the Filipino store, so I decided to opt it out and just use garlic salt and beef broth to hopefully put...

We don't have to be sad to remember the past. =)
Three years ago, one of my friends went to be with our Creator. Her name is Althea Cara G. Eusebio, a woman so full of energy and of life, a woman that showed absolute trust and joy in the Lord. She was a great soccer player, and the youth boys would play with her because she was a ‘worthy’ opponent. XD She was in the worship team and a true worshipper, because in everything she did in...

Battling the Child in Me
So last night, back to immaturity talk. I was humbled when he said, “but you are one of the people I really care about, which is why I say these things to you.” I felt challenged to be more adult-like on some things. thank you, for pushing me to be better.

Last friday, I was surprised with Thai food for dinner and Cirque du Soleil tickets. I was honestly not feeling up to going because I had been down with the flu for a week and was tired of coughing up and being loud. But I was so glad that I did not pass the opportunity to be surprised. It was great food, great company (fevered company :( ), and a great show! When I was younger, I’d...

When you expect something from someone, make sure to look into the mirror and check if something should be expected from you. Expectations can be misplaced and they can also be self-satisfying.

Another challenge issued
More than a month ago, I issued a no-reblog challenge to myself in an effort to force myself to write more and be more expressive instead of choosing existing entries and clicking the reblog button, which always seems easier. Now it seems to have worked. I write more now. =) So I can reblog once in a while. Another challenge for a month is to finish two books, The life of Pi and the Jaeson Ma...

Today marks the first time I watched an NBA game. Had good seats too, Row 5, Section 114.=) So I could really see the action without being limited to one area of the court. The sad part was, The Lakers lost and had a not so good game. :( The final score was 95-87. The worse part was news are calling it a second straight loss to an inferior opponent. The happy part was kung pao chicken...

Just wanted to post a congratulations post to two of my cousins: Jon graduated from elementary school and Louie graduated from highschool and taking up computer engineering for college. If by Rudyard Kipling (poem)
If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you But make allowance for their doubting too, If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies, Or being hated, don’t give way to hating, And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise: If you can dream-and...
