Hello, beautiful knitwear!

It’s been beautiful spring weather lately where I’m currently located, and it’s amazing. However, I have recently been bitten by a crafting bug that includes looking at knits. Being quite a nerd about it, I decided to check out some books from the library and share them with my mother who, quite frankly, is a better knitter than I am. This book I borrowed had an extensive show of designs around the world but I just fell in love with Nordic, Scottish and Fair Isle patterns with its details, pattern and texture of material.

The UK and the surrounding islands have always been on my list of wonderful places to visit (and on a very irrelevant note, Lappland also). The history and culture just draw me in, the literature and the landscape just make me sigh.

Aren’t these patterns beautiful? I’m trying to challenge myself, but I would have to get new knitting needles since my pair was back home in the Philippines. :/
